REPULSE is designed as a privacy-first fitness tool. The primary function of the App is to help users count exercise repetitions using Bluetooth remotes or device buttons.
Health Connect Data (Google and Samsung Health)
REPULSE integrates with Health Connect to provide a seamless fitness tracking experience.
- Reading Data: The App may read your existing exercise sessions to provide a unified history within the App interface.
- Writing Data: When you complete a workout (Squats, Push-ups, ABS, Jumps, or Stair Climbing), the App writes the exercise session details (type of exercise, duration, and calculated calories burned) and floors climbed data directly to Health Connect.
- Purpose: This data is used exclusively to synchronize your REPULSE workouts with other health platforms like Samsung Health and Google Fit.
Device Information
We do not collect personal identifiers. The App accesses Bluetooth settings solely to communicate with your remote control device and uses physical volume buttons to track scores in “Versus” mode.
2. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or health data to third parties.
- No Third-Party Access: Your health data remains on your device and within your secured Health Connect storage.
- No Advertising: REPULSE does not use your health data for advertising or marketing purposes.
- Compliance with Health Connect Policy: Our use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
All workout data and settings are stored locally on your device or in your personal Health Connect account.
- You can delete your workout history at any time by clearing the App’s data in your Android system settings.
- You can revoke access to Health Connect at any time through the system settings of your device.
4. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Since we do not use external servers to store your personal data, the security of your information is ensured by the built-in security features of the Android operating system.
