Concordia Damen Completes Delivery of ‘Century Star’ to Century Cruises
Concordia Damen, the Dutch specialist in custom shipbuilding, has officially delivered the Century Star, a river cruise vessel tailored for the European market. The handover marks a significant milestone for Century Cruises, a China-based operator, as this is their first purpose-built river cruise ship for European waters.
The Century Star is the lead vessel in a series of three sister ships, with the remaining two currently under construction. Designed to meet the demands of European river cruising, the vessel combines modern engineering with operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and passenger expectations.
