Vard Marine AS has officially initiated construction of the UPO Atlantic, a purpose-built commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV) for U-Ming Purus Offshore (UPO). The project commenced with a steel-cutting ceremony at Vard’s Vung Tau shipyard in Vietnam on 2 November 2023, marking the first key milestone in the vessel’s fabrication.
