Fairfield Maritime Japan Ltd. (FMJ) has finalized a long-term charter agreement with Neste, marking a significant step in bolstering the Finnish energy company’s maritime logistics capabilities. Under the contract, FMJ will oversee the financing and construction of two Ice Class 1A medium-range (MR) oil and chemical tankers, tailored for Neste’s operations to and from its refinery in Porvoo, Finland.
