Kongsberg Maritime to Equip Next-Generation Deepwater Construction Vessel
Kongsberg Maritime has been awarded a contract to supply a comprehensive, fully integrated technology suite for a new multi-purpose deepwater installation and construction vessel. The vessel will be jointly owned and operated by Solstad Offshore and SBM Offshore.
The advanced package includes Kongsberg’s latest propulsion, automation, and dynamic positioning (DP) systems, designed to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and precision in demanding offshore environments. The integrated solution will support the vessel’s capabilities in subsea construction, installation, and maintenance tasks.
