Dual-Fuel Methanol Vessels Mark Milestone for Sustainable Shipping
Lemissoler Navigation has officially named the first two vessels in its four-ship dual-fuel methanol newbuilding program, reinforcing its commitment to decarbonization in dry bulk operations.
The MV Lem Azalea and MV Lem Plumeria, each with a 65,000 DWT capacity, were christened during a ceremony held on 27 July 2026. These vessels represent the initial phase of Lemissoler’s fleet renewal strategy, integrating methanol as a primary fuel to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining operational efficiency.
