CY Frontier Christened in Fleet Expansion Milestone
CY Shipping and BigLift Shipping have officially commissioned CY Frontier, the inaugural vessel in their series of four new BC-Class Heavy Transport Vessels (HTVs). The christening ceremony represents a significant step in the strategic expansion of their joint heavy transport fleet.
The vessel was named by Jenny Jung, who served as its godmother during the event. CY Frontier is the first of four HTVs designed to enhance operational capacity and meet growing demand in the heavy lift sector.
With advanced load-handling capabilities and optimized deck space, the BC-Class vessels are engineered to transport oversized and heavy cargo with precision. The remaining three vessels in the series are scheduled for delivery over the coming months, further strengthening the companies’ position in the global maritime heavy transport market.
